Today I fabricated the control horn gussets for the first side... then I flipped the assembly over and drilled the second side out to #30. When I started fabricating the gussets for the control horn on this side, I found that I was a little short of material.
Back on the phone with MAM... they will be sending me some additional RU-422 stock for the remaining gusset. Luckily they hadn't shipped out the elevator doublers yet, so everything can go out together.
I spent the rest of the day deburring the entire assembly. Everything is complete and ready for closing except for the last control horn gusset.
