When I have a lot of photos from one day, I'll split things up into a couple of posts like this to keep the pages smaller.
After finishing up with the main spar I started working on the rear spar. The rear spar has two doublers that get riveted inside it, and none of the holes for this are laid out. First you have to find the center of all three pieces, then you line up the centers and mark where the doublers end on the spar. Then using a rivet spacer mark and center punch 2 rows of rivets to join the 3 pieces together... making certain to not interfere with the rivet holes for the ribs, or the holes for the hinges.
After lots of drilling and deburring, things get cleaned up, primed, and riveted together. Finally the rear spar is riveted to the ribs. To finish the day off I riveted the leading edge spar on, and the skeleton was finished.
