First, I want to take a moment to remember what happened to our nation 4 years ago today, and thank the men and women of our armed forces who are still making sacrifices every day to find justice for the thousands who lost loved ones on that day.
With fall in full swing in interior Alaska I'm ramping back up to start building again. The summer has been busy, but a lot of fun has been sqeezed in. I was very busy at work this summer, but still managed to squeeze quite a few week ends at the R/C flying field, and went on a nice camping trip with the family and some friends.

File comment: After 3 years I finally finished up my Midwest Extra 300S. This airplane has a BME 44 and Hitec digital servos. With this engine it will never do 3D, but it sure is a beautiful flying IMAC bird. Yes, the pilot is a crash dummy... 'Bang' to be specific.

File comment: Unfortunately it was smokey the entire trip, so we didn't see any mountains even though we were right at the base of them, and in fact up in the foot hills about 3000'.
