Well I finished up the second steel piece tonight, but I still need to notch the rib and drill the flanges... then I've got to figure out where to put the blind nuts for the sea fins, and it's ready to close back up.

Here's a pic of the new rib and stainless steel piece as you receive them, and one of the stainless piece trimmed and notched, and the rib notched and drilled.
